DPOT INVESTS ONCE AGAIN IN THE PRODUCTION OF HIGH QUALITY CONTENTS WITH THE SECOND SEASON OF THE BRAZILIAN HOUSE SERIES.
Designer Baba Vacaro and TV director Alberto Renault are responsible for the script and direction of the eight-episode series, which airs November 4. Director Alberto Renault once again turned designer Baba Vacaro into a screenwriter. Both of them are responsible for the Brazilian House series that resulted from a partnership with the Dpot brand of entrepreneur Sergio Buchpiguel, who invests the most in Brazilian furniture design in the country, and the Luz Mágica production company of Renata Magalhães and Cacá Diegues. The first season, with five episodes, aired last year with great ratings and critical success.
The program talks about the Brazilian way of living in the vision of important names of our architecture, among which are Marcio Kogan, Arthur Casas, Isabel Duprat, Indio da Costa, Lia Siqueira, Freusa Zechmeister, Maneco Quinderé and the cariocas Beto Figueiredo and Luiz Eduardo Almeida. The episodes show interviews with anonymous and famous people, such as Carolina Ferraz and Patricia Pillar, who opened their houses to show us their style of living and their relationship with architecture and design. The second season of the Brazilian House series airs November 4, 10:30 PM, on the GNT channel.

100% Dpot by Roberto Negrete
Dpot, a reference brand in 100% national furnishings, presents the new showroom of its Alameda Gabriel Monteira unit. The project was created by Roberto Negrete. “I created a space that resembles a family ambience, inspired in the 40s, 50s and 60s. In order to give it a more welcoming atmosphere, such as that of the houses from back then, I used jacaranda coating on the walls and matelasse fabrics with punctual lighting. With the use of a few colors, with bases in green and gray, those who visit the showroom can also see a timeless decoration”, explains Negrete.
The brand’s new showroom exhibits classic pieces, such as the Lucio Costa armchair by architect Lucio Costa and Sergio Rodrigues’ products with new coatings. All of the photographs used in the decoration are Marcelo Penna’s. Among furniture launchings are the Cozy couch and the Domenica armchair with a massive wood structure and a fiber shell coated with padded cover, created by designer Eduardo Baroni. The Ana armchair, by Aristeu Pires, and the Elle dinner table, by Jader de Almeida, are also on the list.
